Entertaiment is an activity or period of time that provides enjoyment or amusement. The word entertainment derives from the Latin intertenere, a compound of tenere (“to hold inside”) and prefix inter (“in”), from which also comes the Indo-European root ten, meaning “stretch.” Entertainment is a common human experience that may take a wide range of forms such as ceremonial occasions, festivals, religious events, symposia, and even satire [1]. Entertainment can be enjoyed at any scale—from a private moment of relaxation; to a dinner party adapted for two; to performances intended for thousands; or for the entire world to watch and share in.
